About Me

With over 26 years of hands-on experience in media management, I help organisations bring clarity, structure and efficiency to their content archives.

My career began in physical media, where I spent 15 years as a tape librarian, working with formats including Betacam SP, Digital Betacam and HDCAM SR. As the industry evolved, so did my role, moving from physical media management into the digital world and Digital Asset Management (DAM).

Today, through Archive Logic, I combine that practical archive experience with extensive knowledge of modern DAM systems. Having worked across seven different DAM platforms, as well as actively contributing to the design and development of another, I understand what makes a DAM system work effectively in the real world — not just on paper.

Whether you need to bring order to a disorganised library, improve an existing DAM, manage legacy media, strengthen metadata structures or streamline workflows, I take a practical, hands-on approach to solving asset management challenges.
